In addition to the Master of Science in Information Technology Degree (MSIT), four other MSU graduate programs were ranked top 10 in the nation.

There are more than half a million Cybersecurity jobs postings available in the nation, according to Cyberseek. This figure is only increasing, and the demand for Information Technology positions is no different.

As the need to store, retrieve, send, and alter data develops, online master's degrees in Information Technology are becoming more valuable. As a result, there is a trend of universities ramping up their cyber degrees and adding a variety of Cybersecurity and IT degrees alike to meet this demand. Missouri State University is no different.

Many colleges have launched an online master's in information technology to help satisfy this demand. To assist students in searching for a good school, they put together a ranking that includes the most exemplary online IT master's programs in 2022.

New students want to make sure they select a master's program that will help them advance in their jobs by combining cost, academic quality, and study flexibility. OnlinemastersDegree.org reviews approximately 8,000 schools using data from the U.S. Department of Education. To be eligible, schools must have current regional accreditation. Students must also have access to academic counseling and job placement programs.

"This recognition reflects our commitment to academic quality and student access," said Dr. Joye Norris, MSU associate provost for access and outreach.
